Service Description
Stage 2 paint correction and ceramic coating Our most thorough paint correction, for cars with heavy swirl marks, holograms or scratches, and for owners who want the deepest possible gloss before protecting it with a ceramic coating. It's the package we recommend for prestige and performance cars, dark colours that show every mark, and cars you're planning to keep. What's included Everything in the Gold Package, plus our most thorough paint correction. We clay bar the paint to remove deeply embedded grime and use a fallout remover to pull off iron particles. Then we machine polish with a dual-action (DA) polisher, using carefully chosen pads and compounds, to remove swirl marks, holograms, light scratches and marring. A Stage 2 correction typically improves the paintwork by 90% or more, leaving a smooth, crystal-clear, mirror-like finish. Ceramic coating Ceramic coating bonds to your paint and creates a tough protective layer against scratches, swirls and everyday wear. Dirt finds it much harder to stick, so washing is easier, and you get a deep, glossy "wet look" with excellent water repellence. It's highly recommended with Stage 2 paint correction, as it locks in the finish and protects it from road and weather. A 1 or 2 year coating suits a car you'll change soon or want to try coated. 3 years is the popular middle ground. 5 and 8 year coatings suit cars you plan to keep, where long-term protection and easier washing pay off the most. Lifespan varies with use, storage, washing and maintenance, and isn't guaranteed. Is ceramic coating worth it? If you want your car to stay glossy and be quicker to wash, yes. A coating makes dirt and water slide off, protects against bird droppings, road grime and UV, and keeps the corrected finish looking fresh for longer than wax. It isn't a force field: stone chips and deep scratches can still happen, and a coated car still needs safe washing. Looking after a ceramic-coated car Wash with the two-bucket method, a pH-neutral shampoo and a clean microfibre mitt. Avoid automatic brush car washes. Dry with a soft drying towel or filtered air. Our Monthly Maintenance Plan is designed to keep coated cars looking freshly detailed. Common questions How long does it take? Allow a full day. It's the only booking we take that day. Can you remove every defect? Paint correction can't guarantee removal of every defect, and we won't chase defects where doing so could compromise the paint. We'll tell you what's achievable before we start. What about bad weather? We'll rearrange if conditions aren't suitable for polishing or coating, with no charge when we reschedule. Cancellation Policy
LP Luxury Detailing – Booking Policy By booking with LP Luxury Detailing Ltd, you agree to the following terms. Cancellations & Rescheduling Please give at least 72 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. More than 72 hours: no charge. 24–72 hours: up to 50% of the booking value may be charged. Less than 24 hours, same-day cancellation, no-show, or failure to provide access: up to 100% may be charged. Fees will be applied fairly and may be reduced if the slot is refilled. Genuine emergencies will be considered individually. Vehicle Condition Prices are based on the service booked and expected vehicle condition. Excessive pet hair, staining, mould, bodily fluids, sand, rubbish or heavy contamination may require extra time and cost. Additional charges will be discussed before proceeding. We may refuse work where there is a health, safety or damage risk. Access & Belongings The vehicle must be available at the agreed time and location with keys and suitable access. Where required, access to power must be provided. Please remove valuables and personal items. Obstructed areas may not be cleaned. Existing Damage We take reasonable care but are not responsible for pre-existing defects, loose trim, failing paint/lacquer, previous repairs, corrosion, worn materials, aftermarket parts, wraps or PPF. Please tell us about known faults, recent paintwork or fragile areas before work begins. Paint Correction & Protection Paint correction cannot guarantee removal of every defect. We will not chase defects where doing so could compromise the paint. Ceramic coating lifespan varies with use, storage, washing and maintenance and is not guaranteed. Weather & Delays Mobile services may be delayed or rescheduled due to unsuitable weather or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. No cancellation fee applies where we reschedule. Photography & Content We may photograph or film vehicles before, during and after the service for condition records, our website, social media and advertising. We will take reasonable steps not to disclose personal information. If you do not want your vehicle used publicly, tell us before work begins. Payment & Complaints Any outstanding balance is due on completion unless agreed otherwise. Any issue should be raised as soon as possible so we can inspect and rectify it. We reserve the right to refuse or stop work where it would be unsafe, risk damage, materially differ from the booking, or where abusive behaviour occurs.
